‘The Watchful Eye of Nature’

£195.00
sold out

I made these pieces to encapsulate the true spirit of spring. I didn’t want them to be green men as such but slightly more ambiguous than that. I left areas undecorated so that the viewer can fill in the gaps themselves if they so desire. I named them nature faces and wonder what they might be trying to tell us!

May is undoubtedly my favourite time of year when plants grow so quickly you can almost see it happening and I wanted to create some pieces that celebrated this magical time of the year.

This piece, with its watchful eye, definitely feels like a feminine force to me and one that is is questioning us and our actions. I love the power in this piece.

It is suitable for hanging inside or outside, just bring in during the colder winter months. It measures 18.5 cm in diameter.
