This wall hung spirit hare has been handmade in white earthenware and decorated with black slip which is then scratched back into using sgraffito tools to create a fine design similar to the look of lino prints or wood cuts.
Inspired by the wild spirit of the hare this piece depicts a heart sprouting blossoms and leaves and is inspired by Spring, my favourite season. It would look lovely paired with ‘Heart of Spring Hare’ right and would make a lovely wedding or engagement gift.
This piece measures 12 cm high x 26 cm wide and is easy to hang from a screw or nail in the wall using the adhesive d-ring on the reverse.
