Beltane Hare

Gorgeous porcelain hare with design of ivy leaves and spring flowers hand painted in black slip. Sgraffito technique has been used to add some detail and elements are picked up in gold lustre. This piece is inspired by the spring celebration of Beltane on 1st May, heralding my favourite month of the year. This wall hung piece measures 26cm x 15 cm.
